Who is BySquibb ?

Hi, I’m Jenny Squibb. A home cook and the girl behind every recipe on this page.

I never trained as a chef. I just grew up believing that real ingredients taste
better, feel better, and don’t need a diet plan wrapped around them.

I became obsessed with recreating everyday foods in a way that felt both
nourishing and enjoyable, so I could eat the things I love without compromise.

To me, food is medicine. But in a world full of ultra-processed foods, hidden
ingredients, and misleading health claims, eating simply and naturally has
become harder than it should be. That’s why I started making everything myself.

Stripping things right back to the basics: eggs, oats, bananas, milk.
And seeing what I could create from real, simple ingredients.
For years, I cooked this way quietly. My family kept telling me I should share it.

So I did. I posted one recipe. Then another. Then millions of you showed
up asking for more, and I realised this passion had been sitting with me for a reason.

This cookbook is everything I’ve been quietly making for years. The carrot
